Beit Lechem Yehuda helps families in distress: people in need, widows and orphans, single-parent families, people with disabilities and the elderly.

Rescuing food and distributing it to families
Setting out every morning
Every morning the organization's staff and volunteers set out all over Israel. The organization helps families in distress from every part of Israeli society, across as wide a geographic area as possible.
Collecting tens of tons of food
Every day we collect tens of tons of food donated with love by Israeli businesses: from factories, farms and companies all over the country.
Everything arrives at the logistics center
During the day the goods are gathered at our logistics center in Ramat Siv, Petah Tikva, where the food and products are stored and packed.
The organization's transport fleet
The food is transported in the organization's trucks and commercial vehicles. Two refrigerated trucks make sure that dairy and chilled products also arrive fresh.
Sorting and repacking
At the logistics center the goods are sorted and repacked as needed, and kept in the right conditions until they go out for distribution.
Off to the distribution points
The packed baskets go out to the distribution points, and from there on to families all over Israel.
About 14,000 families receive a food basket
That is how about 14,000 families in distress receive a regular food basket, weekly or monthly. Behind every basket are staff, volunteers and companies who give with love.
About 100,000 people nationwide
About 100,000 people receive food baskets from us. And the next morning, it all starts again. For the trucks to leave tomorrow too - we need you.
